Lower back pain is one of the most common bodily pains that most people deal with on a daily basis. In fact this issue is only going to get worse because today most people lead a life of sitting down constantly. However, there are some proven and quick ways to immediately help your lower back pain disappear.

Proper Lifting for Back Pain Relief:

We’ll look at how sitting down is a major cause but let’s quickly look at one other quickly. It has to do with how you lift objects… and these objects would be things for your job or even your kids if you have them.

Most people bend from the waist and lift with near straight legs. This putts all stress and effort on your lower back and causes the muscle to be stained in improper ways. If you want to lift properly, you have to keep your back straight and lift from your legs.

This could be a problem because most people have poorly developed leg muscles. I hope that you can see the importance of proper exercise. This alone will not only help you stop lower back pain, but it will help the rest of your body in a major way.

One of the major things that attribute to lower back pain is the fact that we live in a sedentary culture… that means we’re sitting down more then standing or walking. This makes our hip flexor muscles really tight and that puts big pressure on the opposing muscle group which is the lower back.

Fixing this really isn’t that difficult to do however as there are some stretches that are easy and quick and can make a really big difference.

The Standard Hip Flexor Stretch:

This is really easy to do, here’s how it works. Knell down on one knee. Let’s say for the sake of ease that you are knelling on your left knew with your right knee up at waist level. So you’re going to take your left arm and point it straight into the air and look up at your arm.

You’ll immediately notice that you will feel a big stretch on the front of your hips. That is your hip flexor stretching. Do that on both sides and you’ll quickly notice over the next week or two that your lower back begins to feel massive relief.

Finally the last thing that will greatly help with helping your lower back pain is something I’ve already mentioned… exercising.

Exercise is the most important part of living a healthy pain free body. It will keep you limber and keep your body balanced… while making your muscles much stronger. Exercise is truly the fountain of youth.

This article just brushed over many of the things that you can do. As you can tell there are tons of different ways to help prevent back pain. I really suggest that you work on stretching your hip flexors and getting some exercise. That will make a huge difference in your lower back and be the fastest way to major relief.

woman-stretchingAn aching lower back that you do not want to be treated with painful and invasive surgery? Slipped discs or high blood pressure? There are a variety of diseases and medical conditions today that can be treated with alternative medicine. Contrary to common misconceptions about alternative medicines like chiropractics, it is actually a real science that takes much knowledge and experience and can provide solid and tangible results for a number of conditions. If you are looking for your own chiropractor, here are the basics that you need to know.

Knows enough

A good chiropractor should obviously know enough to treat you. Education is a vital part of chiropractics, and at present there are several major accredited educational institutions that will train a chiropractor for the profession. Keep in mind that no one can learn chiropractics just from watching, or just from being taught by a ‘master.’ It will take a total of seven years in undergraduate and graduate school just to build the hands of chiropractor. Apart from this, the chiropractor should also be licenses, and should be a member of the chiropractors’ guilds and organizations.

Does not know it all

The chiropractor’s knowledge of his limitations is another excellent way of gauging just how respectable and professional your chiropractor is. If you encounter one who claims to be able to identify a disease without the use of other instruments such as an x-ray, especially for very complex diseases, or if you find someone who claims to be able to cure away everything from the common cold to cancer through chiropractics, then you should be wary and start looking for another. When used to treat specific problems that are accepted as curable by chiropractics, this form of alternative medicine can be very effective. On other fields, however, the chiropractor should allow other specialists to do the treatment.

Straight to business

Another way to identify a good chiropractor is through the way that he presents himself. Most excellent chiropractors rely less on marketing than on good performance to earn them a living. In other words, the best chiropractors are recommended by other medical professionals and health care workers. Those who need to undertake massive marketing and advertising moves just to get patients are probably not the best choice for you. Even worse, a chiropractor with too many patients can only mean that he will have less time to focus on your specific conditions.

No frills attached

A good chiropractor will also give you straightforward treatment and nothing more or less. Once you are cured, the chiropractor should not offer additional maintenance sessions, especially since the cure is not meant to be temporary, after all. Also watch out for the supplements that he recommends, since a good chiropractor will depend more on his skills in solving feasible medical problems, than on a host of other herbal products. Even the number of times he requires you to visit the clinic should be minimal.

If your chiropractor meets these basic requirements, you can rest better knowing that you probably have a good professional treating your health problems.
