Diagnosis
Once the diagnosis has been made, the chiropractor has several options. Light touch treatments are still possible, but a good number of chiropractors work with deep joint treatments that aim to correct the misaligned bones, muscles, and ligaments in the lower back. This will usually take treatments lasting several weeks. In most situations, this is enough to cure the lower back pain. Left untreated, lower back pain can result in structural weakness that can damage other parts of the body, including limbs and internal organs that rely heavily on the strength of the back muscles.
